Walker Barbee

A North Carolina native out of West Stanly High School, won the NCHSAA 2A state championship in 2013.
A three time All-Conference, All-District, All-State selection.
A two time Conference Player of the Year.
2017 NFCA Academic All-American at Elon registering 31 starts behind the plate.
2019 transferred to Pitt and made 40 starts behind the plate with 126 put outs and 21 assists.
2019 All-ACC Academic team.
2020 started 17 of 20 games behind the plate before the season was cut short due to COVID-19.
2020 tied for third on the team with walks and tied for fifth in the conference with five runners caught stealing.
2021 started 40 of 46 games as catcher, ending the season with a .975 fielding percentage.
